ATEC: The Preeminent University Alumni Club-Led
Technology Conference & Startup Competition in Asia. The Asia Technology Entrepreneurship Conference (ATEC) is the largest university alumni club-led technology conference and startup competition in Asia. Founded by the Hong Kong and South China university and business school alumni clubs of Harvard, Columbia, MIT and Stanford, ATEC's events are designed to foster active engagement of our alumni with the broader startup ecosystem in Asia, as either founders, mentors or investors. ATEC believes that technology and entrepreneurship are key pillars in creating long-term value, with these principles being deeply rooted in the reputations of the universities represented by our founding alumni clubs. ATEC's goal is to spur innovation across Asia by delivering events that highlight the most creative minds and promising startups, including those affiliated with our alumni club organizers, that are successfully executing on their regional and global ambitions. ATEC is a non-profit organization and all net proceeds from the event go towards the annual prize money for the Startup Competition. |

Alumni Club Nominations Alumni Clubs can nominate up to 3 startups to represent their organization in the Startup Competition.

Feb 2021
Semi-Finalists Announced ATEC Competition Committee will review all submissions and select a group of 20 Semi-Finalists. Semi-Finalists will be given the opportunity to pitch live to the ATEC Steering Committee.

March 2021
Semi-Finalists Present to ATEC Semi-Finalists will pitch live (virtual) to the ATEC Steering Committee.

April 2021
Finalists announced From the Semi-Finalists, we will select 8 Finalists that will present live either in-person or remotely at ATEC 2021 scheduled for Saturday June 5, 2021 at Cyberport in Hong Kong

ATEC2021 Startup Competition ATEC 2021 Finalist Presentation. Winners will be selected based on a combination of ATEC Advisory Council, VC judges and audience voting. We will name first, second and third place winners.
A prize money pool of over HK$200,000, shared between the 3 winners of the competition. |
